Alle Zutaten mit Eiswürfeln in einen Shaker geben. 2. Gut schütteln. Die Blätter sollen brechen, um dem Drink seine Farbe zu geben. 3. In ein Glas mit Eis- würfeln abseihen. Recipe 1. Put all the ingredients in a shaker with ice cubes. 2. Shake well. The leaves should break up to give the drink its color. 3. Strain into a glass with ice cubes. Da hat man schon eine Menge Geschichten erlebt. Irgendwann meinte unser Produzent an der Bar dann zu uns: „Ihr solltet das echt aufnehmen! Wie ihr immer miteinander quatscht und euch die Storys um die Ohren haut, ist sensationell.“ Dann haben wir mal einen Test gemacht und waren selbst erstaunt von dem Erfolg: Innerhalb kürzester Zeit auf Platz 1 der Spotify Podcast-Charts. Wow! Und Ihr nehmt Euren Podcast im MADISON auf, oder? Atze: Ja. Das bietet sich an, weil wir uns hier sowieso regelmäßig einbuchen, um ungestört an neuen Sachen zu arbeiten. Till: Wir mieten uns dann für eine Woche eine Familien-Suite mit zwei Zimmern. Das ist klasse, weil jeder seine Privatsphäre hat, aber mit gemeinsamem Wohnzimmer und Küchenzeile. Wie in einem Appartement, nur mit den Annehmlich- keiten eines Hotels. Dabei entstehen dann auch Podcast-Folgen für „Zärtliche Cousinen“. Atze: Mit der heutigen Technik ist das kein Pro- blem mehr. Hotelzimmer eignen sich sogar perfekt für Aufnahmen, weil sie oft mit Teppich ausgelegt und dadurch schallgedämpft sind. Und warum Hamburg? Till: Weil Hamburg eine geile Stadt ist! Im Ernst: Ich war schon immer Fan. Die Leute sind toll, die Elbe, die Alster. Ich mag diese hanseati- sche unaufgeregte und gerade Haltung. Und dass du hier nicht sofort angefasst wirst. Atze: Geht mir auch so. Neulich hat mich ein Typ auf der Straße angesprochen: „Ich wollte nur mal sagen: Euer Podcast ist super!“ Dann ist der einfach weitergegangen. Im Rheinland wäre das eine laute und längere Veranstaltung mit mindes- tens einem kräftigem Schulterklopfer geworden. Wo muss man in Hamburg hin? Till: Unbedingt im Henssler & Henssler essen. Atze: Und ins Miniatur Wunderland. Die haben sogar einen kleinen Mini-Atze, der sich auf der Bühne hin- und herbewegt. Völlig verrückt. Till Hoheneder wurde 1965 in Hamm geboren, wo er bis heute lebt. Bekannt wurde er in den 90ern durch das Musik­ parodieTrio „Till & Obel“, mit dem er 14 Jahre lang tourte. Heute arbeitet er u.a. als Autor für promi­ nente Kabarettisten und Comedians. Instagram: till_hoheneder Till Hoheneder was born in Hamm in 1965 and still lives there today. He became known in the 90s through the music parody trio “Till & Obel”, with which he toured for 14 years. Today his work includes writing for prominent cabaret artists and com­ edians. Instagram: till_hoheneder and we regularly work together on his stage program. So we have a lot of stories to tell. At some point our producer said to us at the bar, “You should record this. The way you two talk to each other and tell each other stories is sensa- tional.” So we tested it and were amazed at the results: within a very short time it was a number one Spotify podcast. Incredible! And you record your podcast at the MADISON, don’t you? Atze: Yes. It makes sense, because we regularly check in here to work undisturbed on new things. Till: We rent a two-bedroom family suite for a week. It’s great because we both have our privacy, but with a shared living room and kitchenette. It’s like a flat, but with the amenities of a hotel. This is where we create podcast episodes for “Zärtliche Cousinen”. Atze: With today’s technology, recording is no longer a problem. Hotel rooms are perfect for recording in fact, because they’re often carpeted, which makes them soundproof. And why Hamburg? Till: Because Hamburg is a cool city! Seri- ously, I’ve always been a fan. The people are great, the Elbe river, the Alster. I like the unflus - tered, straightforward Hanseatic attitude – and that you don’t always get waylaid here. Atze: I feel the same way. The other day a guy spoke to me on the street: “I just wanted to say, your podcast is great.” Then he just moved on. In the Rhineland, it would have become a long, loud encounter involving at least one hefty pat on the back. Where should a visitor to Hamburg defin­ itely go? Till: Definitely eat at Henssler & Henssler. Atze: And to Miniatur Wunderland. They even have a little mini-Atze that moves back and forth on stage. It’s crazy. „In dieser Bar habe ich schon tolle Abende erlebt. An einem sogar die Liebe gefunden.“ “I’ve had great evenings at this bar.
