Ich wohne ganz in der Nähe vom Hayns Park (Eppendorfer Landstraße 148), der mit dem Eppendorfer Mühlen- teich und der Alster eines der schönsten Fleckchen Hamburgs bietet. Mitten im Trubel Eppendorfs kann man hier Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit finden. Auch der Alsterwanderweg führt durch diesen Park. Turbulenter geht es auf der Eppendorfer Landstraße zu. Sie ist die Flanier- und Einkaufsmeile des schmucken und wohlhabenden Stadtteils mit schicken Boutiquen, aber auch kleineren Lebensmittelgeschäften. Alljähr- lich findet dort das Eppendorfer Landstraßenfest statt, eine quirlige Straßenparty mit Livebühnen, Flohmarkt und viel Gastronomie. In diesem Jahr ist das fröhliche Treiben vom 22. bis 23. Juni zu genießen. Wer nach dem Shopping eine kleine Pause braucht, kann sich im Little Amsterdam (Klosterallee 69) einen Drink gönnen. In dem Außencafé sitzt man gemütlich wie im eigenen Garten. Zum Dinner zieht es mich ins Brechtmanns Bistro (Erikastraße 43), das für eine exquisite moderne Küche steht. Meine persön- liche Empfehlung: Knuspriges Tatar vom Thunfisch Gurke, Wasabi und süß-saure Ananas. Der Hammer! Get out into the fresh air, that’s my motto! I live very close to Hayns Park (Eppendorfer Landstraße 148), which is one of the finest spots in Hamburg with the mill pond and the Alster. This is a place of tranquillity and seclusion amid the hustle and bustle of Eppendorf. The Alsterwanderweg also runs through this park. Life is much busier on Eppendorfer Landstraße. It is the main shopping street in the smart and prosperous district, featuring chic boutiques as well as smaller food shops. The Eppendorf Street Festival is a lively annual street party with live music, a flea market and plenty to eat and drink. The festivities can be enjoyed on 22 and 23 June this year. Those who wish to take a short break after their shopping trip can treat themselves to a drink in Little Amsterdam (Klosterallee 6). The cosy outdoor café is like sitting in your own back garden. For dinner, I like to go to Brechtmanns Bistro (Erika- straße 43), which serves exquisite modern cuisine. My personal recommendation is crispy tartar of tuna with cucumber, wasabi and pineapple sweet and sour.
